Benner’s Co-Chairs National Auto Body Council Golf Outing Supporting NJ Vets

Benner’s Auto Body is proud to announce that shop owner Joe O’Neill Jr. is co-chairing the National Auto Body Council’s annual charity golf tournament. The Northeast Collision Industry Golf Fundraiser will be held at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29 at Mountain View Golf Resort in Ewing, NJ.

Benner’s is also thrilled to announce that this year’s event will support local New Jersey veterans through the NJ Veterans Network, a suggestion made by Joe himself.

Through the National Auto Body Council’s Recycled Rides program, an initiative that donates vehicles to deserving individuals and nonprofits nationwide, Benner’s will be donating two vehicles that were repaired in the shop: a Honda CRV and a Honda Accord will be given to Jersey-based veterans at the fundraiser. Other auto repair industry companies, which have not yet been named will also be donating vehicles to vets.

The National Auto Body Council hosts three golf fundraisers nationwide each year—one in New Jersey, one in Texas, and one in California—which help facilitate more than 300 car donations annually.

In addition to donating vehicles to vets, donors will have the opportunity to sponsor vets to play in the New Jersey tournament.
